I finally got to meet Kyra Schon!
Now I have a new convention comrade!
I was across the convention aisle from her and since there weren't a lot of
customers, we had lots of time to talk. I just found her awesome website here
If you ever get to go to a show where she is a guest, be sure to stop and get an
autograph and your very own personal trowel!!! check mine out ( right) or
you can buy them on her site!

one of the best monster artists ever (along with other art)

Some of the cast of Dawn of the
Dead: Clayton Hill + Sharon Ceccatti Hill, Joe Shelby.
They were also across the row from me. I had some great neighbors at
this show!

(Basil Gogos did the cover for "The Divine Art of Torture")
and the ladies in the last pic are Robyn
Griggs and Amy Lynn Best. I believe these ladies are hosting their own
horror convention in Akron Ohio Sept 19-21

So I met some new people other than Kyra like Doug Evil and the folks from Toe Tag Pictures. Read about August Underground-rumored to be one of the most vile, offensive films ever? Well these guys are responsible. You can buy a copy on their website.
And my new friends Craig and Keith
from Spector Studios.
These guys make latex stuff like wings, masks, bras and many other awesome
halloween items. The last pic is of me in one of the kitty masks
I even got to see the studio! I took some pix too-you can see them near
the bottom of the page

Ahhhh, the box. . .(actual prop from
Hellraiser 4) Look what happened to me!
Here is a picture of the lights on
the ceiling. I felt so perplexed by them. Why were they so random
and odd? So I asked a few people their opinions:
Kyra Schon: "They look like a bad episode of Trading Spaces"
Kevin from Chiller: "They look like the Tiki Room at Disney"
Doug Evil: "The lights don't match the carptet"
and me: "Male and female genitalia"
