The weekend of
November 17th 2006 was a great one for horror!
Thank goodness the
BEVERLY CARMIKE CINEMAS hosted the event in Champaign. I was ready for
a road trip until I saw the news!
Many thanks to Chris and the rest of the staff at the Beverly for all their help
and cooperation!
It was great to see some regular LIX customers and new found horror friends.
If you enjoyed the event and would like to see more horror events in our area
please send some feedback to the Beverly Cinema
film@carmike.com.
or contact
me and I will try to
make things happen! I was able
to catch almost all the films however I missed THE ABANDONED and PENNY DREADFUL.
BUT- I had a good reason. . . (skip to the bottom of this page to find out why)
Beverly
manager Chris and the lovely Emily

Isaac and I took a
mini road trip to Chicago to meet the wonderfully entertaining Crispin Glover at
Chicago's beautiful MUSIC BOX THEATRE!
Mr. Glover hosted a slide show performance which I thoroughly enjoyed and showed
his crazy film "What Is It?" It was a big treat for all attending (whether
they appreciated it or not!)
