CHICAGO OHARE MARRIOTT AUG 3-5, 2002
Flashback was a first time show and
a success! Show organizer Mike Kerz did a great job.
Celebrities included the ladies of the Evil Dead along with Bruce Campbell, HG
Lewis, Richard Kiel, Robert Z'dar, Ben Chapman and more. The convention
times were short but sweet. This gave us dealers enough time to head over
to the fantastic Pickquik Theatre which
hosted all kinds of great movies including BLOOD FEAST 2!!!!! Below are
pix from the convention including the adorable HG Lewis :)

Jill and Chris with HG Lewis!
Annivlle was our own little star at
the show.
Here she is leaning how to read from the Necronomicon

Evil Dead was a big theme for this show. Below are a few pix.
First, Bruce Campbell was there and he liked Annville a lot! The second
pic below is Bruce from where I was sitting-what great photography skills
eh? Also below are Ellen Sendweiss (hey- the ladies have their own
website! check it out! ladiesoftheevildead.com)
and Mr Tom Sullivan who hosts the Evil Dead Museum which has done a lot of
traveling this year! Catch it if you can because its a blast! Go see
the ladies at Chiller! I'll be
there too and its probably the best horror con of the year!!

Annville was making her rounds.
Below pictured with Tom Sullivan. Middle signed by HG Lews "You're a
living doll!" and on the right with a happy Trekkie!

Our neighbors at Kitley's
krypt Jons and the skull man. Then a couple pix of Chris and me.

premiere at the Pickwick
Here are the after hours pix.
Folks included in our tramping around were Ken and Pam Kish from Video
Wasteland-hosts of Cinema Wasteland
Oct 4-6 in Cleveland-Jons, Skull man, Vicki, Phil and Chris and me. We got
to see BUBBA HO-TEP (Bruce as Elvis the mummy slayer) too-Bruce's new Elvis
movie which received good reviews from my group o buddies. Our big excitement
for the weekend was seeing BLOOD FEAST 2-the long awaited sequel to the first
gore flick. My review? Perfect! Perfectly cheezy, Perfectly
gorey, Perfectly sexy and, most importantly, Perfectly camp!!
This was on the ceiling at the
theatre. . . what the. . .???

Dinner at Gino's
(delicious Chicago style pizza) and a work of art.
